In Loving Memory

This page serves a tribute to our lost cars

Carissa - 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse SS - ~380 HP
On October 4, 2004, at about 7:00 a.m. Carissa's new life was abruptly cut short.  Her and her
driver, Kyle, was driving east on I635 through the highway gauntlet known as the "High Five."  As
they neared the Greenville Ave. exit that rainy morning with the preceding car's taillights barely
visible in the blinding storm, car and driver were forced to a jarring stop by a two food deep
puddle.  As unfortunate events almost always get worse, a 40-foot box truck slammed into her rear,
crumpling the bumper into the back seat and skimming all parties involved another 40 yards down
the road.  Truly a one of a kind car, this JDM turbo Eclipse GS never had a chance to see the track
for which she was built.  We can only imagine how many victories she could have had, trophies she
could have won, and little silhouettes of Carrera Turbos she could have painted on her side.  We
  will miss you Carissa

Kimiko - 1987 Nissan 300ZX Turbo GLL - ~300 HP
On April 17th, 2003, only 3 weeks after completion of the car, Kimiko was rear-ended by a Ford
pick up trunk on the highway.  The impact crumpled the car all the way to the B-pillar.  Anyone
who owns a Z, knows that this is not a repairable situation.  All the heartache and pain spent
All the heartache and pain spent making this car a great performer, and standard for Z-cars, and
we got to enjoy it for less than a month.  The body can die, and leave this spirit in tact, Kimiko is
still with us, and will continue to live in her new body and form.  While this incarnation of Kimiko
has been destroyed, we will rebuild her.  Check out the Kimiko Mark II page for more info on the
conversion and buildup of the new and improved Kimiko.

Marie - 1985 Nissan 300ZX-R Turbo (J-Spec) - 223 HP
On July 8, 2002, just before 4 p.m., Shawn and Marie were in an accident when a Penzoil-Quaker
State tanker truck suddenly crossed three lanes of traffic without signaling, pushing Marie up onto
the curb and almost hitting a pedestrian who was walking down the sidewalk.  Shawn got away
with some bumps, bruises and lower back pain that sent him the the doctor for a few days later.
Marie, however, did not fare as well.  Her injuries include damage to the entire left side of the
vehicle, her front quarter panel being crushed down onto her tire and the front suspension and
steering rack being destroyed.  The extent of her injuries, in the tanker truck's insurance company's
opinion, is far greater than the value of the vehicle.  Marie, one of the few truly irreplaceable
vehicles in this country, is gone, though never to be forgotten...
