Bruce

Bio:  Being the son of an officer in the U.S. Army, I grew up traveling all over the world.  I had my first
introduction to cars when we lived in Germany and I had the opportunity to meet works of art known as
Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Lamborghini.  I discovered that the best canvas for speed was five
lanes of smooth concrete carrying some of the most powerful, vibrant machines on the planet.  Even today I
can still vividly remember sitting behind my father in our Mercedes-Benz traveling the autobahn between
Frankfort and Stuttgart at 140 kph when something black flashed its headlights in the fast lane from behind.
It then passed us at such a speed that our entire car shook, keeping any of us from being able to tell what
kind of car it was.  As a 7 year-old child I decided then and there that I wanted to feel what it was like to
be in that car, and over the next six years in Germany, I learned everything I could about cars.

My transition from "old school" horsepower to the world of mod'ed imports started several years ago when
I met a friend that introduced me to a small, six-cylinder engine that had something called a turbo.  Standing
6'5" tall, I slammed my head repeatedly into the roof of his car while power-shifting down IH-45 towards Houston; I have been hooked ever since.  Either by
accident or design, I found the sister to the car that gave me the headache and the itch - a 1988 Nissan 300ZX SS named "Anastasia".  Anastasia is presently
as stock as she will ever be and is looking forward to her re-birth.  It is our collective dream that one day, with a lot of planning and support from her family,
she will be able to dance the lights on race tracks across the country ten seconds at a time.
