I suppose I got into cars because what dad really wanted was a boy. He
didn't get one, but decided |

| that his first-born daughter would do. So
he drug me to car shows until I started to enjoy them, then he |
| taught me to work on his cars until I started to
enjoy that. Now he complains that I'm "un-feminine!" I |
| was raised on American muscle by a man who
sneers at anything with six cylinders or less and will never |
| buy a Japanese vehicle. I was very
similar. So how on God's green Earth, you may ask, did I get involved |
| with an import racing team? Well, it's all
elim's fault. I was fortunate enough to watch the idea for this team |
| form in Shawn's mind, and the boys presented me
with an opportunity I had been craving my whole life - |
| not only the chance to really work on cars
(besides jut changing spark plugs and oil, that is) but also the |
| chance to play with some really fast, really
sexy cars. Because of the boys, and specifically Kimiko, I |
| developed a healthy respect for the modded
import. I still prefer me some good ol' fashioned American |
| muscle but hell, I'll drool over anything that
takes the quarter mile at 12 seconds or faster! Dad, well, he |
| still doesn't get it. |
